Human body works relentlessly day in and out. There is a lot of process going on continuously just like a factory. Every system is closely connected and one cannot function without the other.
The day begins with a list of to- does in one's mind as soon as one is out of bed. Then rushing to office one has to kick start his work. By the time he kick starts and finishes up all the stand up meetings, hustles, the clock ticks 11am. Some of us would have had some light breakfast or just a cup of morning tea or coffee or eaten half the breakfast just before rushing to office. 11am is when the mind is settled and one needs that instant kick or boost of energy to push oneself to next level.
Amongst the several health goals that we write down as a mark to our New year, one which can be easily learnt, achieved and adapted as a part of daily lifestyle is Suryanamaskar.
A salute to Sun, the Suryanamaskar is a series of 12 postures practised in a flowing sequence combining the use of breath. Now this can be achieved first thing in the morning, say within an hours timeline of you waking up.
Majority of them design a sophisticated Fitness goal or resolution by the end of the year i.e. when New year is just round the corner. They write this down in a fancy diary. Read it with high spirits on December 31st. Implement the same with great motivation on first day of the year.
Coastal and the belts of Goa rejoice during Christmas by sharing and giving away a bunch of eateries or one may call it snacks called Kuswar, also known as Kushwad.
